I had mixed expectations with this game on one hand it is a movie game so probably would just be made to cash in on the other hand I really enjoyed the film and this game looked quite fun and the mini-games included looked good fun and the game was a bit different from most games e.g. shooting.
I have to say that this game comes in the middle and I would not really say it is good or bad but is probably quite suitable for its target age group which is children.

The main story mode has the same plot as the movie and has 10 levels in different locations. In the levels there are many different parts which may include racing and then suddenly catching fish in the same level. This variety works well and makes the game more enjoyable. In the levels you can also collect items like coins which are a bit boring and repetitive but the coins have a good function.

The graphics are good but not excellent. The levels are bright and colourful but are nothing special, however the camera angle is quite bad and can be very annoying and you may find yourself changing it every minute as an object blocks your view!

The sound is also quite good and the characters sound similar to the ones in the movie. The music is OK but don`t expect to be amazed.

Now I come on to my favourite part of the game which is the mini-games. As I mentioned you can collect coins in the game and these coins can be used in the Zoovenir Shop. With the coins you can buy clothes (a bit boring), "extras" which are things like extra life and a coin magnet to help you get coins quicker and easier and the best thing the mini-games which are actually really good.

The mini-games are Tiki-Minigolf, Shuffleboard and Lemur Rave which are all good fun. My favourite is the mini golf which is great fun and can be played multiplayer. The courses are all well designed and some are harder than others which makes it quite entertaining!

Overall this makes for a fun little movie game for kids which is certainly better than average with some fun mini-games for good luck. This game is obviously meant for children and if a hardcore gamer played it they would probably think it was not particularly good. I would recommend this game for children but not hardcore gamers.
