Madcatz 15FT Xbox 360 VGA Cable

I have had my XBOX 360 now for about 3 Months, and have been blown away by the great games, and also the great Media Center abilities of this console. But, I have been playing it through my old 51cm TV with the normal component cables. I thought the games looked pretty good compared to other consoles......and then I bought this puppy, wow, what a revelation.

...dealer and hooked up the cable....I could not believe the difference, the resolution is increased 10 fold, the images are no longer grainy, the lighting effects are crisp and sharp, just by installing this simple cable to my old VGA monitor, I have increased my gaming pleasure by a factor of a 100, not to mention that my playing time has increased as my eyes do not suffer from looking at the low resolution TV screen. I scrapped the TV for an old computer monitor, a Sony 21" Flat CRT that I got for next to nothing from a second hand dealer and hooked up the cable....I could not believe the difference, the resolution is increased 10 fold, the images are no longer grainy, the lighting effects are crisp and sharp, just by installing this simple cable to my old VGA monitor, I have increased my gaming pleasure by a factor of a 100, not to mention that my playing time has increased as my eyes do not suffer from looking at the low resolution TV screen. This cable has taken my XBOX 360 experience from the realms of 'novel' to AWESOME! I kid you not, if you are stuck with a cheap telly, and a limited budget, get yourself one of these cables and dust off your old PC monitor, I would say that any PC monitor 19 inches and above would be ideal for this.

Installation was a breeze, the connections are universal, plug the trapezoid shaped end into the back of the XBOX 360 (take out the old cable first...duh!) and the VGA end marries to your VGA monitor cable (there is a F-F adapter included if your plug is M ended) Component Audio is the same as the original cable, so just plug the red and white channels to your amp/speaker set.

I wish I had stumbled on this little gem earlier, it has made me dismiss any thoughts of going back to gaming on the PC, as, now with the aid of this simple upgrade the graphics are clearly superior to any current offering onthe PC platform.
