The Mad Catz Official Street Fighter IV FightPad , is a third party controller for the XBOX 360, I am not usually a fan of third party controllers, because whats the point, of paying an extra £30 for a controller that really is only specific to one game, you have to really like the game to go all out like that, and I am an amazing fan of street fighter, and I had some GAME points that needed using up, so I thought I would treat myself to this controller. The controllers shape is slightly different to the shape of the usual Xbox 360 controller, one main difference on the controller is there is no analogue sticks, I don’t use the analogue stick much in a game like street fighter, but it really does mean that the controller is being specific to one genre of games, even one game. On the back of the controller there is a switch that means that the controller can be used in more than just street fighter games, this switch lets you set the D-Pad as the left or the right analogue stick, but I still don’t think this makes up for no analogue stick on the controller. Personally I hate the D-Pad on the standard xbox 360 controller, especially for the fighting games, well this fight pad controller is much stronger than the standard controller, and means that you can pull off the more experienced tricks with in the game. The right bumper and trigger is another stand out feature from the regular xbox 360 controller, it gives the fight pad controller more of an retro arcade feel and the 6 button layout is a great feature again for the more experienced xbox 360 fighting game fans. Over all this controller is a great third party controller, one of the best I have ever bought, obviously for the price of about £30 your going to want to be a real fan of the game, and the genre to invest in this gamer pad, but when you do I see you reaping the rewards in you amazing fighting skills =]

Well you can play it with any xbox 360 games,how ever I would particularly use it for fighting games or first person shooters, this is mainly due to the layout of the specific buttons. I think if your a big fan of fighting games then it can impact your experience a lot, how ever the change in shape of the controller can be quite annoying at first, it helps you pull of those bigger moves.
