I've been playing street fighter since the age of 9 in the ex alpha series. However, Street Fighter IV is a totally different experience in that the overall game speed appears to be faster. In addition, there is a new attack called the focus attack. To perform this attack, the medium punch and medium kick have to be held down simultaneously. This absorbs one attack from your opponent. Thereafter, you should release the two buttons for a counter attack and depending on how long you hold down the buttons, the counter will become unblockable. There are 25 playable characters in the game ranging from the originals ryu and ken to the new boss seth. Street Fighter 4 - Reliving Your Childhood

Advantages: Looks Great, Plays Great, Feels Like Old Times
Disadvantages: A Lot Of The Characters Feel The Same, Can Get Boring By Yourself

to get these and in the end it doesn't feel worth it. Where Street Fighter 4 really starts to shine is in the Versus mode, grab a friend and a second controller and you have a game that will keep you entertained for hours upon hours. Playing with yourself (now, now) is fun, however with a mate is 10 times better. You can also take your Street Fighting talents online and play in several game modes, rated matches etc. Overall Street Fighter 4 is an enjoyable experience, the only downside is without a friend it can get quite boring. Advantages: Great Game Play, Awesome Retro Feel, Pure Street Fighter Fun
Disadvantages: Other than the price and one or two audio annoyances, none!

Street Fighters - you've got a winner. Which leads me to the next point. How does it play? Over the years, so many people have worried that any 3D version of street fighter just will not play as Street Fighter should. But let me tell you right now, that you can abolish this worry from your mind because this game plays the same way Street Figher 2 plays apparet from one or two character changes. And I mean it. You could probably get 1 control pad linked to 2 systems, one with street fighter 2 and one with Street fighter IV on - and the games would play exactly the same. There are slight differences, for instance Dalshim's jump is a bit more of a levitational jump, he sort of floats through the air, and generally the jumps seem slightly shorter - but that makes no difference because the other character is affected the same.
