Madden NFL 06 (Xbox 360)

Well.. another year brings another madden game out. Now, as the years have shown, not much has been added to each madden game as it progressed through the years. Just the teams stats grow or diminish. Well this year was different. The new Madden 06 has transformed itself into an amazing new game worthy of the name Madden and of the exclusive NFL licence! On Starting the game up, I felt good about this one, just a hunch but i felt good. Having played previous Madden titles, I was a little disappointed when first playing Madden 06. One of the main problems is that the game feels generally as though you are being rushed through it. With not too much concentration on the tactical side of things. The commentry is very good for a Madden game, however the AI is a bit stupid and easy to beat in some cases. Generally the game helps you through, if you are new to American Football with advice on what plays to pick (you can ask the coach for advice, or as Madden himself for plays). Madden is still the best American football game, and it has been defined by this great game. The gameplay is excellent, with easier use, and the new quaterback pass-precision has taken the game to a new level. Realistic play-calling allows you to take your team to victory however you want, taking John Madden's hint, or choosing your own play. Madden is a stayer as far as NFL sims go, and they always seem to up the ante, Madden '06 is no exception, prepare yourself for detailed graphics, accurate plays and tactics, and a great roster and season structure. The gameplay is quite similar to previous versions, with good visual improvements for Quarterbacks, and the new 'Truck Stick' for running and 'Hit Stick' for timed tackles. All the plays are clean and accurate, the routes accurately reflect runner paths and patterns, and defence is good with accurate blitz patterns, audibles and line shifts. When i got my 360, one of the things i wanted to do was to show my friends the graphicall ability the 360 could offer, just so i could show them what they were missing.. WOW,,GRAPHICS YEAH!!!! ..To show them, all i had to do was put the disk in and let the screen do the talking..this is the shinest, most glittering sports game i have played(untill FIGHT NIGHT)..
