Advantages: Great Graphics and a return to great gameplay!! Disadvantages: Anyone without Live cant access major bug fixes. Wheres Madden?
...Since the debut of the Madden franchise twenty years ago, Madden has become the most successful games franchise on the planet. It has sold more than 51 million copies to date. Despite this not being the first Madden on the Xbox 360, this years game really is the first "full featured" version for the console since last years Madden 06, which was a very disappointing start to 'next gen' NFL (National Football League) experience. Now with EA Sports ... ...a strong point for the Madden series, and it's a shame to say it does not end here. If EA were to change one thing about the game it would have to be a complete overhaul of the presentation. Commentary is no longer given by Al Michaels and John Madden, but by a radio announcer who can at times be a lot more responsive to calling plays. Advantages: A number of key features missing in Madden 06 have returned Disadvantages: Game still lacks features available in other console versions of Madden
Madden NFL 07 brings back practically every feature that was in Madden 06 (not a tough feat, considering how little there was to the package), as well as the superstar mode, which was heavily featured in the other console versions of Madden 06 but was absent in the 360 version. On top of that, a number of new gameplay upgrades have been brought to the table, the majority of which are available in all versions of the game. By themselves, none of these ... ...the gameplay experience. Madden makes its PlayStation 3 debut in Madden NFL 07.
These features include the highlight stick, a new kick meter, and lead blocking controls. The highlight stick is a new version of the truck stick used for runners on offense. Madden is EA's biggest selling game.
It makes the likes of FIFA seem unimportant.
But us Brits have never really 'Got it'.
I mean its called 'Football' but they hardly use there feet?
