Maggie Nutcracker As someone who loves a novelty I usually end up receiving my fair share of quirky gifts at Christmas/Birthdays - some better than others. One thing I never expected to get given was a nutcracker - any nutcracker for that matter, let alone one shaped like a former British Prime Minister. I rather like Margaret Thatcher and as a young impressionable politics student, I tended to hold her in high esteem. I wrote my dissertation on her and read many books about her and her politics. Recognizing my adoration (but slightly bemused that I was not a normal teenager who worshipped pop stars and the like) for Christmas one year, I received a set of Margaret Thatcher nut crackers. In my opinion Maggie looks quite funny in my kitchen, inspired in Margaret Thatcher..she really helps me out to crack many nuts and is really very visible..my friends love her as it is something dinstictive ,creative and with quality in my kitchen ...I really maker her work out a lot! I really recommend it and personally I think is a great gift to give to family and friends. From my point of view, this is an excellent gift for this Christmas, something different to the table, funny and that will make people talk about this powerful woman which enjoys squeezing nuts all the time with her skirt ... more
