Overall
I wasn't sure if I would buy another series of this, but the slow burning characters have won me over a little bit now. The disappointment is really the abrupt ending of some of the episodes but I guess there isn't time to develop a big storyline into one ep in a TV series.
Even better, this series does end on a cliff hanger, one that was perhaps easy to see coming when you watch the episodes leading up to it, but still enjoyable, and this is what has swung me to watch on and see what happens.

A friend of mine recently loaned me his Season 1 boxset of Bones. He was singing its praises as he handed me the box saying "the show really sucks you in". So with no idea of what to expect I started trawling through the episodes.
