This model is a great model, however i would recommend for occasional users buying a more compact model. This model's largest bowl will carry a huge amount of liquid, and is barely ever used in my house. The machine however is easy to use, and has a huge variety of attatchements for any occasion. I chose this model in white to save money, and i don't think the silver version (which my sister in law has) is worth the extra money as it requires polishing often to maintain it. It's best uses are for bleinding soups, making pastry, and chopping/grating vegetables. The grating attatchement is useful as it tends not to produce as much pulp as a manual grater, and when grating carrots for something such as a carrot cake, the carrot can be grated straight into the bowl, then the attatchment changed and the flour and eggs added straight. This product is essential now in my kitchen and i could not live without it.
