Advantages: Quick and Easy Expresso in an instant Disadvantages: The refills can be costly
I recently recieved this as a gift for my Birthday and have since enjoyed many delicious expressos. It is useful when having dinner parties as it is quick and so simple to use a child could use it. It has two simple buttons on it, on the left is the power button and on the right the start button. Once started and you have the amount you require, remember to again press the start button to stop the water flow, otherwise it just keeps going until water jug is empty. The water jug is located at the back and is easy to remove and refill. Lift the plunger to reveal where to load the expresso capsule, when empty you again lift the plunger and the empty capsule simply drops in to a basket which has a drip tray situated underneath. This is easily removed to empty however be careful not to throw the basket away with the capsules. The Magimix ...
Advantages: Use it for everything in the kitchen Disadvantages: You need extra space to store blade box
If you are not versed in the world of food processor's - you are forgiven as not many are.
We recently married and decided to replace our old processor with something more up to date and modern looking that would fit into our kitchen.
What do you get for your money?
The Magimix 4200 comes in a large box with a handle, so easy to carry around if you are shopping (although a bit heavy so buy it at the end of your trip).
The product comprises of 2 parts:
- the main food processor
- a separate plastic storage box for all the components.
The magimix has 3 bowls - mini, midi and a main bowl.
The mini bowl is a small bowl which can be used for things such as chop garlic, to make a salsa verde or pesto. Equally, it is useful when you are only chopping a small amoutn of food, making less to wash up.
The midi bowl is ...
Advantages: A tasty and warming winter ale. Disadvantages: Little aroma ~ a seasonal beer so availability is limited.
We had rather a MERRY Christmas this year thanks to a polypin of Bete Noir delivered from one of our local breweries.
~~~THE BREWERY.
Bete Noire is brewed by the Kelham Island Brewery, founded in 1990 at a purpose built site in Alma Street, Sheffield (next to the Fat Cat pub). Brewing began using equipment from the old Oxford Brewery and Kelham Island was the first new brewery to start up in Sheffield during the 20th century. In 1999, due to increased demand and production, the brewery moved to its present location very close to the old site. The old Brewhouse still exists as a visitor centre ~ tours can be arranged in the evenings for £4.50 a head and for that you will also get a beer.
Kelham Island Brewery is now Sheffield?s largest brewery and has won many awards for their beers ~ the most famous and prestigious of them ...
