~~~ HOW IT WORKS ~~~
The machine has a built-in freezer, which allows you to make as little or as much ice cream as you require (1.2 litre per batch). It gently churns and freezes simultaneously. It comes with two bowls, one fixed and one removable. Therefore it's possible to make two different flavours or additional batches. Since the removable one is easier to clean, that's the one I prefer to use.
Be aware though that to use the removable bowl, you have to put liquid between the fixed bowl and the removable one. The purpose of this liquid is to transfer the cold from the fixed bowl to the removable bowl. The recommended quantity of alcohol is 25 ml and it can be whisky and vodka, or alternatively ...

The Magimix 4200 comes in a large box with a handle, so easy to carry around if you are shopping (although a bit heavy so buy it at the end of your trip).

- a separate plastic storage box for all the components.
The magimix has 3 bowls - mini, midi and a main bowl.
The mini bowl is a small bowl which can be used for things such as chop garlic, to make a salsa verde or pesto. Equally, it is useful when you are only chopping a small amoutn of food, making less to wash up.
