It was about a year ago now that I bought this coffee machine. It is my favourite device.

Its 19bar (thats the top for espresso machines)
It has a steamer and espresso nosel
A drip tray
A cup heater
A big water container
Comes with 2 cups and 40 coffees.

As you can see above it puts the water through the coffee grinds at 19 times atmospheric pressure, this is the highest value you can get in espresso machines and it shows in the taste. Which is excellent. In the year i've had this it has never burnt a single bean and has always taken all of the taste out to produce a fantastically strong and rich espresso.

The system itself is excellent also, in traditional coffee machines you grind your coffee finely and place it in the handle, then pump the water through. This produces equally good coffee but is very messy to clean up and sometimes leaves grinds in the coffee.

The Nescafe system is quite different, the coffee comes in pods (there are about 30 flavours) which you just throw away after use. I was initally worried that the coffee in the pods would be restrictive and not fantasic, however I have been proven quite wrong. The range of pods and the quality of the coffee contained within is incredable. You can only order it online though - the delivery is £5 unless you order lots of coffee, which I always have. The pod system makes it very easy to clean the machine and no coffee grounds get to my cup which is great.

There is a £300 machine available which has a timer but frankly I don't think its worth the extra money at all. I enjoy the M150 and saved £150 on it.

The steam nosel alows for many different types of coffees, capacinno, mocha etc and does a very good job at steaming things, including some old stuff I once wanted to get clean and a mug that had some very cleaning retardant gloop in the bottom.

The machine comes with a 3 year warranty and is made to a very good standard, I've never had any problem with mine at all.

After having the device for a year im definately very attached to it and also think its going to last me a long time.

As for the comment about it saving your life, its true it will, if your a student with any lecture/exam at all and need to be awake for it. Its also very nice to start the day with some nice coffee as opposed to that instant muck.

You will have to clean the machine every now and again though, the only advice I can offer is not to do it right after you've had a coffee, the machine gets very hot. Having been asked how esy the machine is too clean I must say that its a doddle.

Overall this would make an excellent buy for anyone who likes coffee at all. Frankly if you like nice coffee you shouldn't be without an espresso machine and this is the one I would recommend.

A Word on espresso
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just for peoples information, there are many ways to make coffee, one involves using espresso (a very strong coffee made by draining all the flavour forcefully from the beans) as a base ingredient. The espresso is brewed in either 25ml or 40ml shots (ie a single or a double) and then added to either hot milk to make a latte, frothed hot milk to make a capacinno or hot chocolate to make a mocha. Espresso is very good on its own too.
