    Advantages Advantages Good formula with a lot of well-pigmented colours, and very very cheap.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not very hardy, and the packaging and brushes leave something to be desired.

    I'm a huge lover of nail varnish, but my student budget and the general economic pinch have made me try to downgrade my buying habits. MUA, stocked by Superdrug, produce the cheapest polishes available by a fair margin, even compared to other budget brands. I'd enjoyed their lipsticks and eyeshadows before. How wrong can you go for £1? (Or even less - I picked up some "limited edition" twin-packs for 49p each recently. 49p! Forty-nine! Madness!) Well, you can go a bit wrong.     The product Make up academy is available exclusively at Superdrug and is a value line of products so I decided to try there nail polish when I noticed it in my local store. At £1 it is cheap and cheerful and I actually was very pleased with the results. A lot of the colours are bright and cheerful and there are a few shades of pink, green and blues available along with some darker colours like midnight blue.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Brush isn't the most comfortable to use.

    I have a compulsive nail polish buying habit. It was coming nicely under control until I discovered Superdrug's Make Up Academy [MUA] range last year, where all standard nail polishes cost just £1. I have now added several to my collection as I think the quality is good by any standards, let alone for the price. THE RANGE MUA is a make up range that is exclusive to Superdrug, where it is available both online and in most of their shops that I have visited.     Advantages Advantages Very cheap (£1!), good quality, dries fairly quickly, great colour.

    Despite being quite the make-up virgin (for someone of my age and generation anyway) I’ve recently been getting into nail polishes since a couple of my university friends have started getting into nail art. To start keeping my nails looking nice when they weren’t willing to paint them I decided to purchase some basic nail polish to try myself, and MUA’s nail polish fit the bill! For those unaware, Make Up Academy, or MUA, is the Superdrug store brand of makeup, everything of which costs only £1!     Review of MUA (Make up Academy) Nail Polish MUA products are available at Superdrug. The range is aimed at the budget conscious end of the market and although I am not a regular user of nail varish, I recently purchased three colours in the range. The Product Make Up Academy nail polish is presented in a squat, square glass bottle with a black plastic screw topped lid. At just 2 inches tall, the bottle is fairly small when compared to other brands, but I feel this can be forgiven as the range has a wide range of colours and a very tiny price tag!
