Lets face it - if you've seen Jillian on 'The Biggest Loser' you will know how tough she is. She shouts and screams and basically beats the crap out of those contestants - but lets face it - it works!

I would sell my soul for a week in the biggest loser house - I think a week with Jillian would actually get me to my goal weight! She really knows what she is on about and this book must be the next best thing to actually having Jillian with you kicking your ass!

She gives you all the info you need on eating for your metobolic type - with an easy test to determine what your metobolic type is. She gives you a 30 meal plan, how to make the meals and good and bad food lists. A really comprehensive guide to the exercises, detailed explanations and pictures of each move and lots of motivational bits to keep you going.

Jillian may be tough on the outside, but she understands what it's like to be overweight and with a Psychotherapist for a mother she understands the importance of understanding whats going on in your head as well as your body. She does address your thinking as well as your eating and fitness and her 3 pronged approach really does work.

You need to be fit in the first place to use this book - and Jillian puts you through a series of tests before you start the plan. If you have more than 20lb to lose, or can't do the tests it's best to start with her 'master your metabolism' book or one of her books aimed more at beginners or those with more to loose.

Jillian is motivating, inspirational and knowledgeable, and her straight talking, honest way of writing is easy to read, understand and follow. She really does know what she is talking about so do what she says, even if you struggle to do the whole 30 days on the plan, the information she provides you with is invaluble to building a better, fitter body.
