This 14.4V drill from makita is a good buy. I have been using this tool for over 2 months now and i'm very happy with my purchase. The 6280 is very compact. I was able to screw in 1 inch long screws with the drill squeezed between 2 wood boards only 9 inches apart. The drill comes with a charger and 2 batteries, which is more than enough power to get you through most jobs. You can drill intensively for 2-3 hours with a fully charged battery and it takes a little more than 1 hour to recharge a dead one. I tried the 12 volts version of this drill so I can recommand that you buy the 14.4 volt; It has more power and the batteries last longer.
