Mamas & Papas Rocking Cradle - Millie & Boris

Advantages: Lightweight, Comfortable, Adjustable Backrest
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest rocker

Great product. Well I only have good things to say about this product. We had our daughter in this rocker from birth right up to about 6 months. I featured 3 different reclining positions which is great for young babies who should be left reclined as much as possible until they become more active and they can make use of the 2nd and 3rd positions to sit up more, look around and play with the arch toy which sadly has to be bought seperatley. There is an easy to use fully adjustable harness with surrounding padding to stop it cutting into the little ones legs and groin. The rocker is well padded and very comfortable, made from a velvet like material which may put some people off from a practical point of view, please dont let this as it washes perfectly and is easy to remove from the frame. It is machine washable. The rocker also comes ...

Mamas and Papas Primo Viaggio Car Seat

Advantages: Matches travel systems
Disadvantages: Heavy, extremely difficult to move handle, straps and get in and out of the car.

We were given a mamas and papas travel system from a family friend for our first baby. The car seat looked like it had been well used and we wanted to buy a new one for safety reasons so we decided on the one to match the pram. What a mistake! We got a matching one mainly so we could use it as a travel system which in hindsight wasn't a good basis for our desicion as we hardly ever use it like this. I can find very few positive points about this seat and would advise anyone against buying one. The car seat is SO heavy even without a baby in it and is very uncomfortable to carry. The buckle to fasten the baby in is needlessly complicated and especially difficult to do in dim light conditions or with a screaming baby. The button to extend the straps so they're not digging into the baby's shoulders is in a really arkward place ...

Review of Mamas & Papas Primo Viaggio Car Seat

Not for Mamas and Papas!

Advantages: Comes with loads of extras
Disadvantages: Too many to list here.

I bought this pushchair after I had my youngest child for a number of reasons. It came with loads of extras which when bought seperatly can work out costing more than the pushchair, and it was very light, only weighing 5 kgs. This was a very important factor as I live in a block of flats on the third floor, and there is no lift. So I knew that I would have to carry it and a child up and down the stairs on a daily basis. It seems that this pushchair is exclusive to Argos, and dosen't seem to be even available in the Mamas and Papas stores, or even on-line. In hindsight, I suppose alarm bells should have been ringing. When I bought this, I paid £99.99, although the price has since dropped to £69.99. It also came with a 6 month manufacturer guarantee. So, what did I get for my money. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luckily I got ...
