I bought the ivory version of this stand for my little boys moses basket. It was quite a bit more expensive at £32 compared to other stands, but I wanted a stand in white/ivory & also one that had the option of rocking. The stand is very good quality and finish. A bit tricky to put together (takes 2 people to hold all the bits). There are 2 plastic discs that can be adjusted to (supposedly) stop the stand rocking, but don't rely on them to stay put ... ...I was hoping to be able to use the stand for the babys bath aswell, but it didn't fit on this stand (perhaps it's just my bath, but being a M&P bath I hoped it would fit). At the end oft he day, I should have gone for a cheaper version - my son didn't much appreciate the rocking, & I found it easier to put the basket on the floor with regards getting him in & out. Also, he was only in his moses basket for about 7 weeks, so it wasn't used very much ... more

We got told by so many people "don't buy a mosesbasket....complete waste of money....will only last a few weeks....couple of months at the most"! In our case, those statements were complete nonsense. Our daughter was 7lb 3oz when she was born and 49cm in length (the average-sized baby). The first night we had her home, she looked like a little dot in her big cot - in fact she didn't look very comfortable at all. The following morning, my husband drove up to Kiddicare in Peterborough to purchase a mosesbasket for her, together with the Mamas & PapasRockingMosesBasket/CarrycotStand. The stand cost £26.99 and the basket (Zeddy & Rhubarb) cost £68.00. Normal Mamas & Papas retail price for the basket is around £86.00.
