Advantages Price, adjustable tray, tray insert, lightweight and compact

Disadvantages 3 point harness that doesn't detatch, tray insert just rests on top of tray

We bought this chair at the weekend. We were sold on its lightness, cute kitchen pattern, adjustable tray and tray insert, and the price of £35.

Getting it home, it was very light and easy to assemble. The tray screws on with 4 screws and the legs pop on.

In use, its fine, but there are some things that aren't so great.
- The tray insert doesn't snap in, just rests in a lip of the main tray. I see a potential missile.

- The harness doesn't come off for cleaning and its white. Its also a 3point harness with the shoulder straps attached to the waist belt.

- My son is quite small for his age and I am not able to adjust the straps to be very tight. Therefore it doesn't feel very secure. He couldn't fall out, but as he has just learned to sit up and wobbles a bit I would've liked more security.

-The main tray doesn't come off at all, making it harder to clean.

- The tray adjusts with a handle on either side. Its slightly tricky for me as I have arthritis.

Good things:
- the seat doesn't have too much padding or crevices for food to stick. Very easy to clean.

-The tray insert is fantastic for prepping his food and then removing it when trying to clean him up

-It feels quite sturdy.

-It folds up small and easily. The legs come off so you can store it even more compactly.

- It is good value for money. It has many of the features of the more expensive models, but without the price tag.

I would definitely get it again, but will see how it holds up.

Edited to Add: One week on, we have actually returned this chair. The harness was very flimsy and it was just too big for my small baby (15 lbs). I wasn't confident that he was secure in this chair. He couldn't get his elbows over the tray to get to his food. With all the accessories being white, it was a major pain to clean. We have gone for a more expensive and more adjustable option.

I would still say its an OK chair, but would not recommend for a small baby.
