I was a few weeks off my due date and decided to have a quick wander around Mamas and Papas factory shop but wasn't planning on coming out with a new pram! I already had the Graco Quattro Tour system from my first baby so hadn't considered buying a new one...until I saw this!
I thought it looked stylish, comfortable and a perfect size - not too big or bulky. The shop assistant showed me how to collapse the pram and how to set it back up again which was really straight forward, it. The handles have a safety feature so that you cannot collapse the pram until you have pulled up the clips on both handles, and then it's just a case of pulling one handle at the back to collapse it. Once collapsed it is free standing which is very handy, and also has a
carry handle on the side which is helpful when lifting it in and out of the car. It fits nicely into our Ford Focus boot leaving enough room for a few more bags of shopping alongside!
To transform the pram to a pushchair is another easy move, it's just a zip and a few poppers and it's done! The pushchair feels nicely padded and has a very secure harness and a bumper bar.
There is an apron and raincover included in the box with this pushchair. The raincover is very simple to use as it just zips onto the hood whether in pram or pushchair mode. The apron again can be used in both modes, on the pram it covers over the top and really finishes the look as well as providing cover, and on the pushchair it acts as a footmuff.
There is a decent size sturdy basket underneath which has held quite a bit of shopping for me and still kept it's shape. A cup holder is also included which can be attached to either handle. The handles also adjust to 2 different heights which is great for me and hubby as it feels comfy for both of us. It has swivel wheels at the front which can be fixed, and a sturdy brake on the back wheels. I find this is so easy to push, very lightweight and easy to control the direction. I can even push it easily one-handed which can sometimes be a blessing when dealing with awkward toddler as well!
There is an integrated toddler ride-on step which is smaller than a buggy board but definitely handy when you have another child with you. This can only be used when in pushchair mode.
This can be used as part of a travel system as it is compatible with the Mamas and Papas Primo Viaggiocarseat. I haven't bothered with this though as I already had my Graco carseat and base, and I really wanted to use this purely as a pram. I thought this would cause me more problems with waking my baby up between carseat and pram but it really hasn't as she is so comfy in the pram she just goes straight back off to sleep.
I actually used the pram as a temporary cot at the weekend when visiting relatives as I couldn't fit the pram AND moses basket in the car so we opted to use the pram as her overnight bed as well. She slept perfectly in it which really pleased me.
As we bought this from the factory store we were able to get this at the bargain price of £150. I have to say that I would definitely be prepared to spend a lot more on this though if I had to buy it again as it is worth the money. We were not given any option on colour scheme for that price, we have a grey pattern which I can't remember the name but it is unisex and actually very nice. There are quite a few other colour options to suit all tastes, I very nearly bought the Grape colourway which was stunning but another £50 on top so I restrained myself and bought the matching parasol instead for £12.
This is the basic information from the Mamas and Papas website: Key Features:

Advantages: Can be used as both a pram and pushchair without having to attach new bits, looks good! Disadvantages: Expensive, heavy to push, not very durable.
