I purchased the pulse twin stroller in January 2008 as I was expecting my 3rd child in March 2008, I required the twin pushchair as I already had a 13 month old son. I was initially impressed by the design and look of this pushchair.
However, this was prior to my first encounter with the Mamas & Papas customer care muppet show. The pushchair has now been returned for repair three times due to mechanical failure. However, the ineptitude of the repair personnel pails into insignificance when compare to the arrogance, rudeness and shocking attitude of the members of staff lurking in the Mamas & Papas store.
Having spent over £200 on a product from a highly regarded store I would not have expected to have been made to feel a 'scrounger' when returning the product for repair yet again.

I bought the Mamas and Papaspulse pushchair to replace a maclaren vogue.
its a light weight pushchair, we got the red one which is a cheery colour, servicable fabric, but quite heavy on the steering with an older child in. With the baby in its ok, lays flat, not particularly padded for a new born though.
It comes with a raincover that fits on quickly, and fits in the pocket that zips up at the back., handy for keys, purse, spare nappy e.t.c.
It has an adjustable foot rest which goes right up to offer more protection for a younger baby.
Could have done with a few more comfort extras for a newborn like a headhugger and a foot-muff.
We paid £89 so i supppose compared to the maclaren vogue which was about £120 you get what you pay for.
