We then tried to use it as a pushchair when she was a bit older, and she hated it. She didn't seem to like the way the straps fastened across her and used to cry all the time. When I was pregnant I spent a lot of time looking at different pushchairs and prams. As this was my first baby I wasn't really sure what I would need. I decided I would quite like a pram, as they are supposed to be much better for younf babies, but i would also need a pushchair from about 3 months onwards.

We first used it when our little girl was a week old and it was brilliant. My little girl had plenty of room to move around, and was really wamr and snug whilst it was in pram mode. We couldn't have asked for a better pram. The only complaint I had was that the break wasn't very good and didn't seem to work.
We then tried to use it as a pushchair when she was a bit older, and she hated it. She didn't seem to like the way the straps fastened across her and used to cry all the time. Not being a driver I had to push it for miles some days and found it very heavy to push. The frame also used to creak a lot and the whole thing just felt to me as if it might break at any minute.
Instead we used it as a travel system, with the Primo viaggio car seat clipped on. This seems to fit really well, and my little girl loves being pushed around in it. There is also no need to use the raincover when using it like this, as the main hood and teh car seat hood fit together, so your baby can't get wet. The main advantage of using it as a travel system is that you can transfer your sleepin baby from the car to the pushchair without waking them up!
My little girl is now 10 months old and we do still use the P3 at weekends, when my husband is around to do the pushing. My little girl is now quite happy in it, now that she can sit up a bit more. However, it still feels to be as if it might break at any moment and doesn't look as though it is only 10 months old.
We ended up buying a Mclaren pushchair a few months ago, and that is by far my pushchair of choice, but that's a whole other review!
Advantages: Comfortable for baby as a pram. Disadvantages: Not easy to fix car seat to the buggy
We chose this particular one because it was great as for the first few months the pram function was really nice and comfy for Oliver. It allowed us to go to friends houses and he was comfortablel enough to sleep without being disturbed. Now he is older the pushchair function is great and very comfy and all the necessary parts are adjustable.
The downsides of this buggy are that to fit the car seat on the main structure is a bit fiddly and when you ...

Advantages: easy to use, lightweigh, smart looking Disadvantages: fills the boot of a 306
When I found out I was pregnant I soon discovered that buying a pram/pushchair can be an absolute nightmare. There are so many on the market, doing different things and costing different amounts! i wanted one that would be lightweight, and take my baby right through to being a toddler.
I also wanted one that would look like a proper pram, not just a carseat on wheels. Due to suffering from SPD in my pregnancy I was not up to mammoth shopping trips which made it even more difficult to choose one as I could not get out to see what they were like in the flesh.
When flicking through the Argos catalogue (its no longer available in there), I came across the Mamas & Papas Pliko Pramette and fell in love with it immediately. It was only available in one colour, the Boston check, but it was a nice dark colour and looked like a proper ...
Advantages: Lightweight, compact, practical, stylish but not at the expense of practicality. Disadvantages: None!
Having had my first baby in January, I wanted a user-friendly, sturdy, compact and practical travel system. The Pliko Pramette ticked all these boxes! It feels like a proper, sturdy pram but is incredibly light and easy to push and manoever. The fabric is practical and sylish (I chose the 'Famiglia' design...), and cleans easily - a must in the winter months! This travel system converts into different travel modes, and is ideal once your baby all too quickly outgrows the pram mode! The manual is helpful and the illustrations make it easy to follow. The handles are adjustable, a must for my tall husband, and it folds into compact, upright storage mode. The Pliko Pramette can be purchased from many retailers, but it is worth going to your local Mamas and Papas, as there before and after sales service is exceptional, and they are always ...
Advantages: Lightweight, easy to push, stylish and comfy! Disadvantages: None
I was a few weeks off my due date and decided to have a quick wander around Mamas and Papas factory shop but wasn't planning on coming out with a new pram! I already had the Graco Quattro Tour system from my first baby so hadn't considered buying a new one...until I saw this!
I thought it looked stylish, comfortable and a perfect size - not too big or bulky. The shop assistant showed me how to collapse the pram and how to set it back up again which was really straight forward, it. The handles have a safety feature so that you cannot collapse the pram until you have pulled up the clips on both handles, and then it's just a case of pulling one handle at the back to collapse it. Once collapsed it is free standing which is very handy, and also has a carry handle on the side which is helpful when lifting it in and out of the car. It fits ...
