as you can see the chapters cover a wide range of topics which are designed to help manages their performances and the performance of their organisation. i found the text to be well explained and the use of diagrames, and a mixture of theory and example from businesses helped in my learning and understanding of the different subjects
i also found that for other modules i could refer to this book as a reference. in addition my mother who took a MBA course 8 years ago still uses her copy as a refernce which i think says alot about the quality of the book that professional managers still use the book. in addition this book is the recomended text for my course which also shows that it is well regarded.
i have to admit that i did find parts of the book to be challenging but i put this down to the fact that im only a first year student and alot of the stuff in the book i have not heard before
so if your a student or a practicing manager i would definetly recomend this book. the only dissadvantage that i dound was the price which was £43 when i got mine for new.

It is organised into eight parts, covering the organisational setting, the manager, the individual, groups and teams, organisation structures, Human Resources and organisational performance. ...
