The club is one of the most successful in English football; for over twenty years, since the 1986-87 season, they have won 18 major honours, which is more than any other Premier League club
There is not a premier league team in the word than Manchester united football club . They have won the fa cup more than any one else in history they won it in 1909, 1948, 1963, 1977, 1983, 1985, 1990, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2004 .
Also Manchester united are one of the very few clubs in the history of the premier league to win the treble .Manchester united won the the tittle in 1907-08, 1910-11, 1951-52, 1955-56, 1956-57, 1964-65, 1966-67, 1992-93, 1993-94, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1998-99, 1999-00, 2000-01, 2002-03, 2006-07.
.The only time they have won the uefa champions league is 1968 and 1999 . But it has not been an all successful history .In 1931 to 1932 Manchester united had a run of twelve losses on the bounce to make it the worst losing run in British football history. And the managerial crisis in the eighties .

sir Matt busby was one of the greatest players and managers of all time . the former scottish international let Manchester united discover their form in the nineteen fifty`s. but there was a tragedy at the club with the Munich in 1958 which resulted in eight players dieing .but he began putting a team back together which included the survivor sir bobby Charlton. he was then knighted shortly after his team won the European Cup. he resigned on the 26 April 1969
how many fans are there world wide ? since Manchester united have been arguably the most popular football club in the world they have over fifty million supporters all around the globe .
sir Matt busby`s successor
it took Manchester united a long time to find a new manager to fill in busby`s shoes . after busby retired he appointed Wilf McGuinness as his successor. not every thing went right . he was sacked and several more casualties followed him until sir Alex Ferguson took over in 1986 .

sir Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson was born on the 31 December 1941 in Govan, Glasgow. sir Alex the took over in 1986 and has developed his reputation to become the the most successful manager in the history of English football and with twenty years experience at Manchester united already under his belt he is the he is the second-longest serving manager in the history of Manchester United after Sir Matt Busby and is considered one of the best managers in football. this is because he guided Manchester united to nine league championships. in addition he won the famous treble in 99, the first manager to lead an English team to the treble has also won the fa cup five times with Manchester united and he is also the only manager ever to win three successive league championships in the top flight in England with the same club (1998-1999, 1999-2000 and 2000-2001).

there has been lots of good players in the past like sir bobby Charlton Eric Cantona , Paul scholes Rudd van Nistelrooy, Roy Keane , George Best, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney , Cristiano ronaldo, Paul ince, Dwight Yorke, ,peter schmical and Andy Cole .
my favorite xI
there have been lots of good players in Manchester united`s history but my favorite starting eleven is peter schmical in goal, Gary neville at right back Steve Bruce in centre defence and nejamna vidic to partner him .at left back i would have to put gabriel heinze .my midfield would be made of Cristiano ronaldo on the right ,Roy keane in the middle with Paul scoles partnering him .and Ryan giggs on the left in strike i would put Eric cantona and to partner him George best .
the current squad
the current squad is made out of class, experience, youth and talent . there is nothing i would change apart from the forward line because we need a natural goal scorer .

Advantages: I suppose they produce good players and keep people happy. Disadvantages: They are hated and make too much money are force other teams out of the market.
