Be the first to trust me

I get the impression that quite a few others have had problems with this company and others in the BCA group. But then others that are quite happy with the first deal.

So I just thought I'd share my experience with the unhappy ones! I'm not here to write a spot on review, just to maybe help others that will be in the same position I was in if I can.

First I heard of the company was receiving two membership packs and 'free' books (they wanted me to pay £2.99 postage and the book a month for the rest of my life....sign in blood etc type contract - sorry just kidding) from the sci-fi and fantasy BCA company and Mango, BCA.

I have to say it caused me some stress having two packages arrive that said I owed this company money. I went to their websites and the only way to contact them was to do it through my membership, thus activating my account and signing up to unwanted books.
After a bit of 'Googling' I found the head company site BCA.

http://www.bca.co.uk/

Using the online contact form got no result, if you have problems with them I suggest you copy and paste the email address they give and write them a letter with the non activated membership number they sent you and tell them you did not join and do not want to join.

e-support@booksdirect.co.uk

After a couple of emails I got a reply apologising and telling me to keep the books.

So the bitter part out the way, now on to the sweet.....Amazon marketplace lets you sell products next to there own new products, happily I was able to sell both books on Amazon for a £10 profit after fee's and postage, Amazon only take money off you for selling on their site only if it sells, unlike ebay say.

I'd rather not have had the stress of having the books sent to me in the first place but at least it can have an ok out come!

The same happened to me as well. I still have the book waiting to go to a charity shop. It's a shame I don't read chick lit!
