THREE HEARTY CHEERS FOR JONATHAN EDWARDS

Advantages: Couldn't happen to a nicer fellow.
Disadvantages: None.

Going for Gold, and achieving it! Hearty congratulations to Jonathan Edwards on his truly magnificent achievement of the Gold Medal in the Olympic Games in Sydney. Whilst many of the pundits forecast glory for Jonathan, I was somewhat dubious, as he often just misses out on the ultimate glory of winning a major prize. This time, however, he reaped his just desserts with a triple jump which beat the rest of the World's best. He always comes accross as a very quiet, unassuming, very religeous person, who truly represents the very best of good old-fashioned character. It is therefore refreshing to see that the Good Guys do still win. He sets a shining example to the youth of today, and I for one am overjoyed with his success. Long may it continue! ...

Review of Jonathan Edwards

Jonathan James

Advantages: All the basics plus more. Nectar Points!!
Disadvantages: Bit more pricey than other places

Whilst browsing through various products on Ciao, I was flabbergasted to see this particular category, and well, I thought - who better to write a review on this lil Petrol Station than someone who knows it inside out. Someone who has been on both sides of the tills. Yes, that's right, this review doesn't just cover the delights of the petrol station in general - but has a dash of advice on being an employee! About Slade End Slade End, is one of two petrol stations in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire the other being West Park Street, both of them are Budgens and BP garages, ran by James Graven and Son, who also owns a garage in Ely, and a couple of Budgens stores in Soham and Dersingham. The owner, is the one and only Jonathan James, I met him a few times, and he was generous enough to pay for the wine at our Christmas Party in ...

Review of Slade End Service Station, Cambridgeshire

Why does Jonathan Ross say these things!

Advantages: Quality read and very funny
Disadvantages: Not long enough

I guess only Jonathan can answer the imortal question, why do I say these things. Jonathan is a character easily compared to Marmite, either you look him or you hate him, but one things for sure this book albiet quite biographal will have you in stitches in my opinion. For fans of the TV & Radio personality this book is a must, full of stories not much disimular to that of his BBC radio show regarding his 'strange' upbringing, life and passion for all things cartoony & Japanesey. If your not a fan of Wossy, it is still worth bearing in mind that without his talent and energy we may have no have had my comic talents grace our screens, no one would have shouted whats on the end of the stick Vic or help Russell Brand become the global success he is today. Upset Grandads aside, this audio book is worthy piece of literature and will ...
