My first reason is why i like this drum kit so much is that it is really good quality even though my parents brought it second hand its still amazing. When my parents brought it for me it was immaculate, and it still is.
You need to keep it clean and look after it loads as it can get dusty alot. In my opinion you should duster it everyday this will help it from getting rusty and getting lots of scratches on it. I love it as it is the same colour as my room, so everything matches eachother. The value for money is outstanding as i have had it for 3 years now and nothing had ever gone wrong on it . I would strongly encouage anyone to get this drum kit no matter how advanced you are. From my experience i play it every day, therefore i need to look after it well as things could start to go wrong on it.
When it comes to playing it you can get practice pads to reduce the amount of sound. I mean however you want to play just do it, loud or quiet either is excellent. The sound quality is fantastic but it depends on how and where you play it around the drum kit. There is also another thing you need to watch out for. When you find that the skins are getting lose. Then all you need is an allan key, then just tighten them up and retune it again.
A standard drum kit brought from brand new would cost around £450-£750. As i think that this is really good compared to some standard drum kits which could cost £700-£1,200. Which is alot more money especially if you're only a beginner.
These drum kits are well crafted as i have had mine for a while now and none of the balck paint has come off, also once you stand them up and tighten them they will stay in that place and not fall over or whatever else you can think of. I also feel that they are very appealing to people, they can come in a range of different colours, so it will suit everyones style. Whether you want a different range of kit standard for example.
This drum kit is also very playable, i dont feel that there is anything not playable about it, even if you wasn't a drummer im sure you would be able to play this outstanding piece of art. If you ever feel like buying accessoires, i would encourage you to. I have two holders for my drum sticks but the thing is i have 10 pairs of drum sticks and each holder can hold two pairs. These holders attach to the side of the cymbols. I also have a tamberine but at the moment i have no where to put it.
I would encouage people that if they are getting a second hand drum kit go and see it before you buy it. If you get it brand new ask them all different sorts of questions so then it will help you become more advanced to it and then you would be able to set it up by your self.
My friend jack got me into drumming and i thank him for that becuase if it wasnt for him then i wouldn't be where i am now. From my point of view this drum kit is outstanding and would last a good 10 years if you look after it really well, as i have with mine. So in my opinion my drum kit is awesome and if you descide to get a drum kit i would encourage you to get a Mapex.
