Advantages NICE GRAPHICS WITH GOOD GAME PLAY
Disadvantages SUCKS AT TIMES
I enjoyed playing Mario right from the Nintendo 64 game console and as things may be, the Nintendo game cube Mario does not excite me like the previous Nintendo 64 Mario version. Well a lot of people have been moving comments along the air that the game sucks; yes the game some times sucks but not as some say.
The Mario party game does not have that clear destination on where you are heading or your mission status unlike in the Nintendo 64 Mario that really makes it clear to you on where you are heading to not only that even the Mario sunshine makes it clear. Well as a Mario fan and lover, I will still get on with it because there are a lot of excitements in the game no matter what happens. This Mario party does not have that much interaction unlike in the previous versions with the boards. To me it seems as if they put platforms and terrific beautiful graphics and leave you to go along with the game.
That’s why I still prefer the Nintendo 64 Mario version in terms of destination and mission objectives. The name Mario party really tells much on what the game is all about. In this game, you don’t seem to see that seriousness in Mario and the mission. All you tend to see is some clownish exhibition in Mario and along with his mission partners like toad and other characters. The toad I think made the game more unserious like the sounds it portrays, some times when I hear the voice, I wish to remove the character alone and live the rest. I have been asking my self a question on this noise, what type of voice is this but still fun any way because some times, I tend to laugh over that.
On the many boards, you really get a lot of choice on where you go. On most boards, you are dictated by bridges that fall and change direction. The good move there is the mini- mega move that enables Mario to have access to some certain things like the stealing of coin, throw extra dice and also helps you to have access to secret path and special mini-games but one major thing is this, you don’t really have easy access on getting stars so this should be noted. The feature that tends to appear in the story mode is challenging the board host to a duel. This is not as good as it should be because characters like Goomba and boo resort to luck based game while koopa troopa is very easy to beat.
Other extra new features are also made available like the issue of collecting coin that can be referred to as extra boards and another feature is the whomp’s room features. The game play is quite easy in the sense that it is possible to save at the end of each game.
Below we will take a look on the game features. Graphics:
Well as a Mario player, what really do you expect from it. Right from time, Mario has been good in graphical representations. I think that this is among the best graphics in the Mario parties that I have played so far since I have not played all the Mario parties in the game cube.
