mmmm marks and spencers!

Advantages: tasty
Disadvantages: soo more-ish!

Okay so I'm a big fan of all things sweet and my latest sweet fix comes in the tubs of marks and spencers confectionary. When Mrs B was pregnant she very fortunately had cravings for marks and spencer's food of any description and used to send me off on my merry way to do the weekly shop and allow me to purchase whatever I liked so long as it was from M&S. It was during one of my many trips around the store that I came across the 2 for £4 deal on tubs of cakes and decided to invest in a few. The flapjacks soon became my firm favourite and now we always have at least one tub in the house- for emergencies! They are the nicest flapjacks I've ever had as they taste very fresh and buttery. They are worth all the 70 calories per bite! They have recently been repackaged, they now come in a bright yellow tub with a simple picture ...

Review of Marks & Spencer Flapjack Mini Bites

Mmmm Marks and Spencer's Sponge Cake!

Advantages: tastes lovely
Disadvantages: lots of calories, not suitable for certain allergy sufferers, quite expensive

The name Marks and Spencers has always been associated with good quality food in my mind. It is true that their stores have come under quite a lot of criticism in recent years but to me their quality of food has never deteriorated and it is still second to none. I do not shop at Marks and Spencers regularly but if I get the chance I do like to make a few selective purchases. One such treat that I have discovered is their Iced Sponge Cake. At £1.39 for a 335g Sponge Cake this could be considered to be on the expensive side. However, this may be a Sponge based treat but do not think that it will taste anything like a Victoria Sponge Cake for a moment, because this treat is in a whole different league. The Cake is rectangular in shape and comes in three different layers each separated with a generous layer of Raspberry Jam ...

Review of Marks & Spencer Iced Sponge Cake

This is not just any review. This is a Marks and Spencer Review.

Advantages: Good quality and tasty food
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

You may have your own opinion about Marks and Spencer in general, with some people still perceiving it to be a tad old fashioned and unimaginative. However, the same cannot be said about Marks and Spencer's food department. The reason I buy Marks and Spencers food is because of the taste and quality. I often pop into Marks and Spencers on the way home from work if I don't have much in the fridge and fancy a quick but tasty convenience meal. To be fair, I think that the ready made meals are probably the biggest attraction for most people shopping at this store. You just don't manage to get the same selection or quality of convenience meals from the larger supermarkets, such as Tescos or Asda. I know that I can stop off at Marks for 10 minutes and manage to pick up a nice meal for tea, whereas if I went elsewhere, I just wouldn ...
