I picked up a brochure for Marks & Spencers Life Assurance cover in one of their clothing stores. I was impressed with what they had to offer, I think it was £6 a month for £100,000 life cover, so I filled out a "no obligation" form for some more information and sent it off. I received the information a few days later and took my time reading through it, in the meantime I was plagued by phone calls from M & S trying to sell me the policy, I was getting calls every night, in the end I had to be quite rude and tell them to stop phoning. I think If these people had left me alone to get on with it, I would probably have taken the cover, but I felt I was heavily pressured into taking the policy.

I HATE it when you get pestered by companies, and they dont take the hint when you are trying to politely decline! They dont understand till you tell them to "bog off"! lol
