I must admit I do love it when Marks and Spencer have their Christmas shop in-store, and this year is of course no exception! The sack is available both in M&S stores across the country, and also from their website. It's also part of the 3 for 2 Christmas offer, so its worth considering that if you have more than 1 child to buy for.

With Christmas fast approaching, I have been busily collecting together all of Harry's presents from Father Christmas so I didn't have to make a mad rush of it throughout December, and I think I am finally done! He keeps telling me Father Christmas is coming, and loves reading all sorts of Christmas books with me, and I love how much my little boy is really getting into the festive season with me and his daddy. I wanted to get him something special that he could have for Christmas and be able to use in years to come, and that's when I thought of a stocking. But when I went to Marks and Spencer and saw this sack, I just knew it'd be better than a small stocking, and so Harry is now the proud owner of his very own Christmas Santa Sack!
I must admit I do love it when Marks and Spencer have their Christmas shop in-store, and this year is of course no exception! They always have a large array of goodies for people to buy, often on their fab 3 for 2 offer, so you can save a few pennies as well. There was a good range of Christmas stocking for children and adults available, although this was the only sack that I could see. The sack is available both in M&S stores across the country, and also from their website. It's also part of the 3 for 2 Christmas offer, so its worth considering that if you have more than 1 child to buy for.
Although it doesn't look very big in the picture above, it really is a good size for putting your little one's christmas presents in. Obviously its not going to fit in the big presents, but you will be able a good few stocking filler types presents in here. The actual measurements of the sack is 69cm in height, and 47cm wide. It is a flat sack, so will only stretch so far when you fill it with gifts, but it does have a little in-built stretch so you can squeeze a couple of things in there. There is a little hanging hook in the top left corner of the sack, so your little one can hang it up on Christmas Eve and then come down Christmas morning to find it full of pressies...perfect!
The sack isn't just made of cotton, it's a soft, almost velvety material to give it that really luxurious and cuddly feel to it. It's actually 100% polyester but is really so soft, I am quite happy to Harry to cuddle up to it in bed as he has been since we bought it for him this week! The lining is red like the outer, but is 65% polyester and 35% cotton, also very soft and festive looking. The image on the front is of a big Santa Claus dancing on snow, with snowflakes falling around him. The image is just stitched onto the outer fabric so isn't raised or anything, but the snow, beard, gloves and boots are the brushed material feel and are panels on top of the main body of the sack.
This large Santa Sack is a great present to buy for your little one in the run up to Christmas, because I am sure they will love it! Harry really loves his, and loves to tell us how if he's good, Father Christmas will fill it with presents! I can't wait for Christmas Eve when I can help him leave it out for Father Christmas with the mince pie and glass of milk! It's a really good quality item as you would expect from M&S, it is machine washable so you can keep it looking and smelling fresh year to year, and its also a nice keepsake for when they're all grown up as well! For the money, I'd highly recommend it and think its a great item for the exciting build up to the big day, only 5 weeks away now!
The sack is on sale in M&S for the price of £9.50 which I think is great value for an item your child is going to love, and will last you years and years if you look after it! I did get Harry's on the 20% off day for £7.60 so it was even better value, and don't forget its part of the 3 for 2 range as well, you can also mix and match with other items in their Christmas shop too. There is also a matching stocking available for £5 in the same material and design, but is obviously much smaller than this sack.
