Okay so I'm a big fan of all things sweet and my latest sweet fix comes in the tubs of marks and spencers confectionary. When Mrs B was pregnant she very fortunately had cravings for marks and spencer's food of any description and used to send me off on my merry way to do the weekly shop and allow me to purchase whatever I liked so long as it was from M&S.

It was during one of my many trips around the store that I came across the 2 for £4 deal on tubs of cakes and decided to invest in a few. The flapjacks soon became my firm favourite and now we always have at least one tub in the house- for emergencies!

They are the nicest flapjacks I've ever had as they taste very fresh and buttery. They are worth all the 70 calories per bite!

They have recently been repackaged, they now come in a bright yellow tub with a simple picture on the front, no messing about with M&S! You can tell just by looking what exactly you're geting and the little slogan 'get your oats' above it just always makes me smile... simple things!

The ingredients are all natural, there is nothing arteficial or added seeing as it's good ol' M&S food. The ingredients include:
Oats
Butter
Syrup
Skimmed milk
Sugar
Salt
Emulsifer
Soya.

When you lift the lid off the pot you can smell the butter and the richness of them. They literally make your mouth water just by smelling them alone. They're 'bite size' so you always need to have a few but they are so very buttery that you do notice when you've had several!

They're crumbly and not that chewy which makes a nice change from some flapjacks and oat-based bites which tend to stick your teeth together. Instead these are really a nice mix of the too- crumbly and slightly chewy. You can taste the butter, it just melts in your mouth.

What I really like about these is the little tubs they come in too. They are easy to reseal and easy to just open again to sneak another one on your way past! I like the fact that they are good little additions to a party or if you had people round and they're not individually wrapped so they're not at all fiddly.

They cost £2.50 each but two tubs are £4 so well worth it! There are other varieties in the tubs too such as mini rolls, rocky road and cornflake cakes. They're available from M&S and definitely worth it! If you're on a diet though beware as they're dangerously addictive!!
