Marshall 72115 Bass Combo

...in 1962 with the building of the JTM45. A simple combo type amp which was powered by valves. Valves are still the major factor in the deliverance of the smooth Marshall sound today. Design ------ Most of the Marshall amplificcation looks a standard way. This is uniform throughout the range and give the user the feel that he belongs to a much larger family, even if he only owns a little combo. The heads are finished in Black cloth with Grey/White Woven Grilles. The metalwork is all finished in either Brass or Gold with the White Marshall logo in the middle of the speakers. you can normally get 2 types of marshall. The combo which has the Amp and speaker combined or the "Stack" as it is commonly known. Advantages: Dependable sound and reliability.

...This is the standard Marshall 4x12", rated at 300W. You cannot get a better looking speaker cab. The Marshall is a classic. The standard version comes in angled (A) or straight (B) formats, which are identical except for their shapes. The 1960A/B cabs are switchable for stereo operation (where the signal is split between the two vertical pairs of speakers), and also operate at various impedances, so you can match it perfectly to your Marshall head. These cabs produce a large amount of bass response, due to the closed-back design. If you're using one as an extension cabinet to, say, a 1x12" combo, you will instantly recognise what a difference this makes. The Marshall sounds fantastic, even when you're playing a relatively crap head through it. The 75W Marshall/Celestion speakers break up at just the right point, and don't sound boomy... Read review

...This pedal will convert your small combo into a full on marshall stack. No kidding! There are a range of distortions available from fairly light overdrive type distortions to full-on Metallica-esque distortion. The latter is truely awesome. By setting a scooped setting the sound is second to none. It features treble, bass and 2 midrange tone controls which gives complete control over the sound. For use in metal playing, sustained power chords or smooth solo sounds I cannot recommend this pedal enough. Brilliant. I wouldn't recommend it to people who are after a less full on distortion as there are better pedals for dealing specifically with slight distortion. But for more full on stuff, buy it!...
