Advantages: ironically a likeable film
Disadvantages: very little of Van Damme in the movie

This film contains everything that for me makes a very poor film, so then why do I like it so much. On the DVD cover compared to the VHS video they have put a picture of Jean Claude Van Damme, in a bid to aid selling the movie. This is the first movie {non pornographic} that Jean Claude Van Damme is in, and as a result does not have big parts. so if you only buy it on the strength that includes Damme, you may be a tad disappointed. Advantages: Inspirational- easy watching
Disadvantages: cheesy- simple plot- but effective

Well where do I start with this film? This is one of those inspirational films like Karate kid that makes you want to get off the sofa and take up kickboxing or other martial arts or learn the splits. This film has a real basic but predictable story line - without ruining it too much you can guess the ending within the first ten minutes. The plot wait for it, if you don't want to see stop reading now; Is revenge- Vamme Dam's (Kurt Sloanne) brother ...
...but doesn't have the necessary skills so learns from a master and of course there's the love interest too.. This is basically an easy watching adult version of Karate Kid. Would recommend this especially as it's a classic in the true sense and so easy watching and somewhat inspirational and touching. Very cheap price and certainly worth it ... Read review

Advantages: a clever film and rather enjoyable
Disadvantages: typical van damme acting but hard to play two people

as van damme films go this is probably the best he has done.playing to parts at once as brothers seperated at birth and reunited 25 years on is admirable given van dammes lack of acting quality.basically a story of two different brothers seperated as infants due to the brutal slaughter of their parents by chinese underworld gangsters.it revolves around a bridge that was constructed using the expertise of van dammes parents who were then executed ...

Advantages: very interesting
Disadvantages: less than 2 hours run time

brother of Van Damme is defeted by his enemy in a crual way.what is next.not considering the warnings of his broter Van Damme goes to the fight.He is taught martial Arts by a chinese old man and after that the enemy who injured his brother is defeted by Van Damme.Thisi is a very interesting film that i have ever watched. Advantages: Excellent for all ages and the best fight scenes on dvd!
Disadvantages: Not so good on disk or box quility

Maybe a few years back but Van Damme has made three excellent movies great for all ages so just sit back and relax and prepare for a set of martial arts thrillers.
