Italians do it...quite well..when it comes to cars!

I had the chance to drive this car in the States.

I have not driven many sport cars in my life, but i can tell you that I will never forget what it is like driving a Maserati.

Within the city or where speed controls are rife, the car run smoothly as if it did not have the huge engine it has. The temperature never goes above 90, and the engine makes a cool and soft noise.

The gear has 6 speeds, which add to the fun of driving this beauty. The acceleration is terrific, I have overtook few cars with such ease, while with other cars, I would not even have dreamt about it.

If a small defect exists, it is in the 1st gear, which I found "too short". Particularly at the beginning, I was either overdoing it with the first gear, thus bringing the engine indicator in the red zone, or doing too much, thus missing out a bit on the full potential.

On wet roads, the cars behaves wondefully, it still sticks to the ground as if it were not pouring down.

In terms of comfort, the driver's seat is very comfortable and everything you need can easily be reached without loosing control of the car.

Consumption of petrol is a bit of a pain, particularly in town, I believe down to 5 km per liter.

But then, this is not a car you wish to drive in town at all.

I regret in USA, like in UK, they have far too many speed cameras.

We had found a stretch of car void of speed cameras and we had some fun there.

Sometimes reaching 230 Kmh is not too difficult!
