    I was the first owner in the UK of a Ghibli Cup in February 1997 - I bought the demonstrator and registered it as M1 CUP. It replaced a 911 Coupe (993) and seemed to be all that i wanted from a car - fast, comfortable, stylish and just a bit different from others. I had previously test driven a BMW M3 and although happy with the performance and styling the gearchange was a little sloppy and the steering lacked any sort of feel. I ran the car for one month short of 3 years and spent as necessary to keep it on the road. This included 2 air conditioning control units (one in warranty one out ) ... more
