A Happy Christmas Massage Advantages: A gorgeous spice and orange smell Disadvantages: Only available seasonally ...stinks. This means that Lush are ideally placed, as if there is a company more able to take commercial advantage of the smells of the season (that's the smell of say, mulled wine, rather than the smell of money going into cash registers), I don't know who is. Admittedly, no-one has isolated the smell of a crisp December morning, but for now we have the next best thing; the smell of a Christmas morning in a Lush Christmas massage bar. The orange smell is to the fore, but there are some underlying spices, of which cinnamon is the main scent. The bar also contains clove and pepper oils, although they don't come through quite as strongly, although once you've used the oil and it's starting to absorb a little, the clove and pepper scents do come through a little stronger ... If you like chocolate Orange you'll love this! Advantages: gorgeously moisturising and smelling Disadvantages: quite oily ...it. But while shopping in Lush for bath products it came as a freebie which was lovely! This incidently of which i talk about is the Lush Therapy massage bar. It is a creamy yellow colour quite solid but starts to melt a little when in contact with the warmth of your skin which makes it ideal for massage! Its ingredients are mainly shea butter, cocoa butter, orange oil and lavender oil, although personally I cannot smell the lavender which I think ... ...me to try some of the other Lush massage bars too! The price for a bar of this is £4.95 and I would also recommend buying one of the little tins to put it in, the tin costs £2.95. Shimmy me all over! Advantages: A great multi talentes bar Disadvantages: It melts quickly ...it, that as soon as Lush rang in the new year, they gave her a promotion: she was kept on as a permanently offered Massage Bar for glitter-heads the world over to enjoy not just for special occasions, but always a stayer on their wooden shelves. Shimmy Shimmy is scented with sweet vanilla, musky clary sage, calming lavender, and benzoin resinoid (which is the equivalent of adding extra vanilla to the mix), Shimmy Shimmy also does a pretty darn good ... ...into a little puddle. Lush also brough out the same bar but re-named it Love Bug for Valentines in 2006. Instead of the usual creamy white colour Love Bug was a golden version based on the same scent as Shimmy Shimmy. Say goodbye to aching muscles! Advantages: It really works, smells nice Disadvantages: Expensive, doesn't look great ...found this Massage Bar in Lush and thought it had been made for me, I quickly purchased it and for £4.90, it wasn't too expensive. To be honest, the look of the soap isn't very nice, I usually like Lush with their brightly coloured soaps and bath bombs but this is a little dull. It's a classic soap shape, sort of oval and it's cream with dark red beads over the top. Not the prettiest thing on my bathroom shelf but if it worked, I didn't care. The ... ...which are both excellent for your skin as they make it so soft and moisturised. The soap smells of mint and cinnamon which is quite a pleasant scent, so I didn't mind rubbing it all over my back. I used the soap and as I rubbed it I could feel the oils coming into my hands, it as like the soap was melting and all the scents were released. Lush Fever - Pure sex in a bar! Advantages: Looks sexy and feels sexy Disadvantages: It isn't very hand friendly ...for those who have used Lush for years will no doubt remember the bar! Fever as we know it today isn't what Fever was originally! The original design of Fever was a two tone bar, the lower layer was a cream colour and the top was bright red. It looked incredibly vibrant and naughty!. However after its many years of service it was discontinued and redesigned at the end of 2003 (I still don't know why they did as it was one of Lush's top selling products). ... ...a firm grip! What Lush say:- A head-turningly sexy rose and sandalwood bar. The Fever Massage Bar encapsulates the feeling you get when you're so besotted with someone you can think of nothing else. Its rose, jasmine and sandalwood fragrance is unashamedly sexy.
