Advantages: Small, easy to use Disadvantages: Whirring noise
...I got one of these as a birthday present a couple of years ago, its has a good range of features including mp3 playback and dolby digital sound. Its only very small compared to other dvd players which is really good because it means it can be kept just about anywhere, mine currently sits on top of my small bedroom tv, completely out of the way. The dvd player is easy to use, although the remote has quite a few buttons that I am unsure what they do. The dvd plaer has good sound and picture quality and plays both real and copied dvds. I have never had any technical problems with mine. The only disadvantage I have had with the product is that it makes quite a loud whirring noise at times when playing dvds. Overall good product thought....

Advantages: Affordable, Small, Light, Control batteries included, Doesn't skip/pause. Disadvantages: Can only be operated by remote, scart lead isn't provided.
...I purchased this DVD player about 6 months ago and I am very pleased with it.
I use it very regularly and since I have had it, it has not skipped or paused once. It is very easy to set up, however the scart lead isn't included so if you don't already have one you'll need to purchase one (they're about £8-15).
The DVD screen comes up automatically as soon as you've put a DVD in, so there's no need to find the tv control to press the AV button.
The picture and sound quality is excellent.
I would recommend this DVD player to students or families who are looking to put a DVD player in their bedroom(s).
It's great value for money, and one of the best quality players around for under £50....

Advantages: Great Still Picture, Easy to set up Disadvantages: No Clock or timer, Gets warm, Short lead
...This DVD player gets warm and is quick noisey but it is a great first time player. Quick set-up but at the price lacks advanced features.
Compact so it takes up little room which is handy for those with limited space for a larger DVD player.
Plays more than just DVD's which is a bonus on this cheap little unit.
Features Dolby Sound and plays MP3, CD's and has a Kodak reader for viewing picture cd's instead of just a DVD player as on more expensive players.
I would buy this player if I needed another player and was tight for space.
The lead on the player is a let down unless you have an extension lead available, or a plug socket close to the unit.
Paying abit more on another unit would be better due to short cord and only one scart lead so you can't add it to anything other than a television.
To connect a video, television...
