We have two of these in our house hold, one of them works and one of them doesn't. The one that doesn't work, did work for around 6 months but now it makes a horrible noise whilst playing and skips DVD's. The remote control also has a very weak sensor so it can become annoying. To be honest, it was a cheap DVD player so i can't complain, you get what you pay for etc etc. But it doesn't even play some CD's, us that to much to ask? Ive never learnt half the buttons on the remote control, i would elaborate on this but i've lost the remote so can't go into too much detail. I think this DVD player is perfect for in a childs room where it will not be in constant use. Some benefits are, of course that it's Sony, therefore the customer service is good, we got a broken remote with one of ours and they sent a new one through the next day, the DVD is also a good looking player. Its light and easy to use.
