Worst purchase i've ever made ... 3 days out of warranty and it started crashing half way through a program. Have to restart the program and cross my fingers it finishes the cycle, sometimes having to repeat the cycle as many as three times. If only washing a half load, i have to drain and respin the load because there is still a puddle at the bottom of the drum considering that it has a 1400 spin i find this very annoying. There is 3 handles/ridges on the inside of the drum, in the past week 2 of them have come off.
I've complained to Matsui about the problems i've had, and told them how disappointed i was with the short lifespan my machine, first problem occuring just 3 days after the warranty expired. The reply i've received states that there was an extended warranty available to me at time of purchase, which would of covered me for any problems arising and that in future i should consider purchasing one. I don't know about anyone else but i would expect to get at least 3 years hasslefree use out of it regardless of whether i had an extented warranty or not!
I've had the machine 15months now, It cost me £195 i've spent £65 on repairs to date and have just been quoted £145 to fix it again. Matsui have been no help at all and there customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The time had come for me to cut my losses and buy a new machine ... definately not a Matsui!

I've got the same machine and had to have it repaired when it was 11 months old, luckily they just sent me out the bumph to take out the extended warranty so I will be taking it out this week so I'll be covered for repairs for 2 years. Sorry you have had so much trouble and I agree you would expect a machine to last longer than a year:(
