...A girl can get lost in a Barbie world. As a child I never had Sindy or Barbie dolls in fact I did only have 2 dolls I did not really like dolls I preferred to climb trees damn ditches, make dens. I am sure you all know what a Barbie doll is, but for those of you that do not, here goes. In the 1950's Ruth Handler noticed her daughter Barbie playing with paper dolls she had cut out the dolls were Adult. So Ruth created the fashion doll Barbie. Mattel produce the plastic doll. Advantages: Cheap at Asda, quite a lot of stuff for the money
Disadvantages: Loads of little bits which are going to go a stray

...This little set was available in our local Asda for just five pounds recently. I bought one to keep for my daughter's christmas present. For a fiver it provides excellent value for money. There are many pairs or ballet shoes, some tiara's and furniture for a barbie house. There are alos loads of little thinks, make up brushes etc that will inevitably get lost but provide entertainment before hand. The product is mainly barbie pink and plasitc, but little girls love it and it is sure to be a hit. My only problem with it is that some of the dancing princesses will be unable to sit on the chair infront of the vanity mirror as their legs do not bend. All in all though, if you have a barbie fan in your house, it is definately worth getting down to Asda to see if they have any more of these cheap.... Read review

...Barbie carriage Still on the Barbie and the twelve dancing princesses them, this was another huge box, and of course Little Miss loved it- size not quality seems to be her motto! ~~Setting it up~~ I often judge the success of a toy on the level of frustration I will have reached by the time it is set up and ready for play. This was surprisingly easy- already done for me, and although the instructions show me how to attach the bridle, there is no need. This is one big box which won't have me tearing my hair out. ~~What is it?~~ Since this is supposed to pull 12 princesses, I had thought there would be several horses. However, they must, being princesses, be very light, because there is only one horse, and a very pretty horse it is too!
