I believe in Miracoils! Advantages: Sooooo comfortable, inoffensive cover design Disadvantages: very heavy - turning should not be done alone! I never ever knew mattresses could be soooo expensive - never having bought one before... I just assumed (naive I know!) that they came with whatever bed you were buying! The bed (which is also reviewed! Hint, hint!) was bought and the search for the perfect mattress had begun.. My mum had put a Sealy on my bed at home which I was quite pleased with - thought it was quite comfy and seemed to sleep well on it.. My other half was insistent on a Silentnight.. ... ...heard that the mattresses were really good. He had in mind the exact one he wanted and would not settle for less! We both like quite a firm mattress, both of us suffer from bad backs if the bed is too soft. Can't say enough good stuff about Healthbeds Memoryflex mattress! Advantages: Absolute bliss to lie on Disadvantages: Don't want to get up in the morning! ...tests on mattresses, and the Healthbeds Memoryflex has won it more than once. In face I contacted Healthbeds via their website, and they sent me a copy of the Which? report (well, you would wouldn't you?!) and that helped us take the plunge. So once I'd found the double mattress via Quidco for £380, I thought it was worth a gamble - and it has been. This is the comfiest mattress I've ever slept on, without doubt. I can sleep through the night now, ... ...feels soft yet supportive, cosy but not too warm. All the bad points I've read about memory foam just do not apply to this one! We've had it for a couple of months now, and it's still bliss! We love it, and completely recommend it, without reservation. Viscotech Memory Foam Matress (Sleepeezee) Advantages: Does not have springs Disadvantages: gets uneven and sloppy with time We have purchased this mattress in Oct 07. for several months we have experienced that the mattress got sloppy and it push us to the sides, while laying on the bed you will feel a sensation as the bed his higher in the middle. We had a previous Latex mattress which was really wonderful, like being in the clouds, when decided to buy a new bed we went for the Memory Foam because the salesmen advised to be more advanced then Latex. Really regret not ... ...product instead going for the new stuff. At the time has costed £299.99 while the Latex ones were around £350 - £370. The all set (bed and mattress) have been purchased at Bensons for Beds, not the most organized people (one of the boxes was missing and the wrong matress was sent, took 2 extra days to complete the delivery) but with a excellent costumer service. Advantages: Very comfortable, excellent quality Disadvantages: Can't turn it Silentnight Miracoil Supreme Cornflour Mattress I bought this Silentnight Mattress about nine months ago from a catalogue as a replacement for a mattress that came with a bed and was rubbish! The mattress is available in single, double, king size and super king. Prices start from around £200 for the single, I bought the double for £265 but I've just checked and the price is now £289! So not a cheap mattress and the most expensive one I have ever ... ...This is the first Silentnight product I have bought and I am certain that the next mattress I buy will be a Silentnight. Gone are the days of lumpy springs digging into my ribs at 3am!! This was a very wise purchase and I would certainly recommend to a friend.
