Max Factor Eyes Lash Lift Volume and Lift Mascara, Black

I used to use Max Factor Classic mascara, and when it ran out I decided to give Max Factor Lash Lift a try, as I'm one of these people who likes to try every product going! ~Packaging~ This comes in a navy blue tube, with a gold lid and gold writing. The lid is slightly wider than the actual tube and has a shiny gold diamond shape imprinted into it. I don't know if this was intended to aid grip of the brush handle, but I do find that it helps. There is also the standard sticker on the top of the brush, which shows the colour of the mascara - in this case I bought black. ~Brush~ There seems to be a tendency to have all sorts of different brush designs - be it curved brushes, or even combs, but this mascara has a pretty standard brush. Max Factor lash lift

Advantages: make your eyelashes dark
Disadvantages: clumps form and leaves you looking like a panda

I saw this in the adverts on t.v, so i decided to buy it because it looked so good. On the first swipe over my lashes, I thought I was successful. I didn't experience the clumps, however, on the second swipe, my lashes had instant 'build-up' in an unattractive way. The product dried quickly, and I couldn't separate my lashes with the brush. Clumps quickly developed. Another thing that disappointed me was the flaking. As I continued on through my day (I didn't have time to remove the stuff to start over) I noticed my contacts started to bother me more than usual. When I checked out the situation in the mirror, I noticed I had black flakes in my eyes. That was it. I thought that this mascara wasn't working. Soap didn't make it go, or make up remover. give your lashes the max factor!!

Advantages: great overall
Disadvantages: really hard to remove

Packaging ************* Nice packaging, very simple and quite posh, plain black with a coloured rim depending on if your having blue/brown/ or black mascara. the wand is thick with many bristles so you know its going to reach all the lashes and give them an oompff of a lift :) Price ******* Quite reasonable price as it does last about 2 months if you use it quite often (as in everyday). shops do vary, boots is probably the most expensive place to get it from because they sell for around £6 last time i checked. superdrug does it around £5 or they might have a 2 for 1 offer on max factor products.
