I used to use Max Factor Classic mascara, and when it ran out I decided to give Max Factor Lash Lift a try, as I'm one of these people who likes to try every product going!
~Packaging~
This comes in a navy blue tube, with a gold lid and gold writing. The lid is slightly wider than the actual tube and has a shiny gold diamond shape imprinted into it. I don't know if this was intended to aid grip of the brush handle, but I do find that it helps. There is also the standard sticker on the top of the brush, which shows the colour of the mascara - in this case I bought black.
~Brush~
There seems to be a tendency to have all sorts of different brush designs - be it curved brushes, or even combs, but this mascara has a pretty standard brush. It is tapered at the tip, which is useful as it allows you to get into the corner lashes, without smudging onto the eyelids.
~My Experience~
The mascara itself is a very nice consistency, not too watery as some of the cheaper mascaras can tend to be, or not so thick that it is difficult to apply. The mascara is a good strong colour, and does look very dark on the lashes, as I've found with some their 'black' is more of a grey colour.
The mascara is called Lash Lift, and I find that it does actually give lashes some lift, although works better if you use eyelashcurlers. It also adds volume, but without giving that 'stuck together' look, and generally isn't clumpy. I have found though, the more coats you use the clumpier it looks, however this is probably not just applicable to this particular mascara.
The tube contains 9ml, which doesn't sound much but is pretty average for a mascara. I've had this one for a couple of months now, and still have plenty left.
There is a note on the tube, which states this is suitable for contact lens wearers. I wear contacts and have never experienced any problems when wearing this.
Overall, I have been very impressed with this mascara. It's simple to use - no messing about with 2 separate steps, it rarely clumps, and it gives my lashes a natural look. I would definitely recommend this one.
~Price~
This costs £8.49 from Boots. I actually bought it with a £5 money off coupon, but I still think it's worth the price, especially if you wear mascara regularly.
~Other info~
There are 3 different shades in the Lash Lift range, which are Black, Black/Brown and Navy. There is also a waterproof version available.
They have just done a test live on 'this morning' and this mascara came out top. It was a test for waterproofness and they said the result before the water was fantastic and after the water was pretty much the same. Got 10/10 in the test anyway.. just thought you'd like to know. :-)

I haven't tried this brand. My eyes go very watery with anything other than Clinique, which is expensive!
