But.. my sister was right as usual, it looked really nice, and I was so pleased with how I looked. Since then Iīm hooked, I bought one myself, it comes in tubes ... ...Ģ8 (here in Sweden) and it lasts for ages! You donīt need much on, and it covers without making the face look like you put mud on it. It stays on very well (but also comes off very easily), I have even fallen asleep with it on, and itīs still there perfectly the next day, you would probably have passed for newly made up to go out if it wasnīt for the mascara under (and over!) your eyes :)

I worked my way up to using foundation, as usual it was my sister who brought me into the world of make up and fashions, and whatever she bought, I used and loved.. I trusted her feeling for what was nice and not, and I still do! In return I did her dishes.. hehe..

But.. my sister was right as usual, it looked really nice, and I was so pleased with how I looked. Since then Iīm hooked, I bought one myself, it comes in tubes of 35 ml, itīs well worth the price of about Ģ8 (here in Sweden) and it lasts for ages! You donīt need much on, and it covers without making the face look like you put mud on it. It stays on very well (but also comes off very easily), I have even fallen asleep with it on, and itīs still there perfectly the next day, you would probably have passed for newly made up to go out if it wasnīt for the mascara under (and over!) your eyes :)
Disadvantages: The only things I can think of is that it comes off a little on your collar, but not much, and on me it stings a bit just when you put it on just after cleaning your face, and it doesnīt smell too good either, smell reminds me of clay actually.
Packaging:
Itīs a see-through tube with a dark blue top and bottom. The top is actually at the bottom, and it can stand up by itself, which is perfect as the foundation comes down by itself, meaning you donīt have to squeeze it. It comes in many different shades, my favourite is pastelle, since itīs closest to my skin colour. You should always use the one closest to your skin colour as a base, and then maybe buy another one brighter to highlight parts of your face, or darker to make shadows.
My grandmother was once out shopping for a party she was going to, and my sister joined her to help her find something, and my sister suggested her to buy Lasting Performance by MF, and she wore it for the party, and people came up to her saying she looks so young! My grandmother who was 78 at the time was thrilled, and still phones my sister to help her on with the foundation before she goes to any special event :) This proves it covers great!

I’ve done it! I’ve finally broken out of my cheap make up habit! Some people on here may already know that I tend to go for the cheaper things in life. Max Factor's 'Lasting Performance' no. 105 is out of the drawer and back on the shelf, revelling in all its 'soft beige' glory. Being fair haired and fair complexioned I believe this shade suits me best as the 'Fair' shade is too light and ghostly. In summer I switch to no. 109 'Natural Bronze'. There are six colour variations to choose from in easy to identify transparent tubes. This make-up base really does last all day ... ...removes easily with cream. It evens up skin imperfections to create a flawless finish and is non-greasy, light and easy to apply as unlike previous foundations I use my fingertips instead of bothering with a damp sponge. Having an oily complexion probably helps though. The colour blends well without streaking and has a pleasant aroma. At a cost of Ģ9.50 for a 35ml screw-top tube, or Ģ2.71 per 10ml pastelle, it's a competitively priced product considering ...

Advantages: It is very adaptable and provides reasonable coverage without feeling heavy. Disadvantages: the choice of colours isn't huge so colours may need to be blended to match.
Having used this product for a few years I have never been let down by it and in my opinion it is an excellent product for both day and night use. I think that it provides really good, even coverage and It is cream based formula that spreads easily. As I mentioned earlier it works for all occasions; during the day I add it to moisturiser for a slightly lighter coverage and by night use it as it is. It always seems to last a full work day or night ... ...option for any occassion, it creates a natural finish without being too matt or too shiny and doesn't feel heavy on your skin. Also I find whilst the coverage is good you don't need too much of the product, as it spreads easily so therefore doesn't run out too quickly. ...

I bought my Loreal True Match foundation about a week ago, and have used it every day since. I bought the colour Bronze Amber (C7) which is perfect for me and this is the first time I have ever foundation straight away that matches my skin colour! It was easy to blend and apply and the pump which the bottle has is perfect and allows you to use as much or as little foundation as I need. The foundation didn't look thick or make my face look fake at all, unlike the previous foundation I was using (MaxFactor's LastingPerformance - although it is good for staying on all day.) It also dries looking matte and not oily at all, so there is very little need for powder on top of it.
The True Match foundation stayed on all day, even with my oily skin, as long as I kept dabbing it with tissue and applying a little more powder with a large makeup ...
