I worked my way up to using foundation, as usual it was my sister who brought me into the world of make up and fashions, and whatever she bought, I used and loved.. I trusted her feeling for what was nice and not, and I still do! In return I did her dishes.. hehe..
One day she had bought Max Factorīs Lasting Performance foundation, and wanted to try it on me, donīt think Iīve used any other foundation ever before that, except my motherīs far too dark shades of brown cream in an attempt to look tanned, and I remember it didnīt look nice.
But.. my sister was right as usual, it looked really nice, and I was so pleased with how I looked. Since then Iīm hooked, I bought one myself, it comes in tubes of 35 ml, itīs well worth the price of about Ģ8 (here in Sweden) and it lasts for ages! You donīt need much on, and it covers without making the face look like you put mud on it. It stays on very well (but also comes off very easily), I have even fallen asleep with it on, and itīs still there perfectly the next day, you would probably have passed for newly made up to go out if it wasnīt for the mascara under (and over!) your eyes :)
Disadvantages: The only things I can think of is that it comes off a little on your collar, but not much, and on me it stings a bit just when you put it on just after cleaning your face, and it doesnīt smell too good either, smell reminds me of clay actually.
Packaging:
Itīs a see-through tube with a dark blue top and bottom. The top is actually at the bottom, and it can stand up by itself, which is perfect as the foundation comes down by itself, meaning you donīt have to squeeze it. It comes in many different shades, my favourite is pastelle, since itīs closest to my skin colour. You should always use the one closest to your skin colour as a base, and then maybe buy another one brighter to highlight parts of your face, or darker to make shadows.
My grandmother was once out shopping for a party she was going to, and my sister joined her to help her find something, and my sister suggested her to buy Lasting Performance by MF, and she wore it for the party, and people came up to her saying she looks so young! My grandmother who was 78 at the time was thrilled, and still phones my sister to help her on with the foundation before she goes to any special event :) This proves it covers great!

Hi! I was looking for some foundation the other day and saw this but didn't know if to get it or not and bought Maybelline Matte Finish instead which is good-but this does sound better! Welcome to Ciao. Lisa x x x

Advantages: Quick and easy to apply, Transparent tube, Lasts all day, Doesn't rub off onto clothes and still removes easily with cream Disadvantages: None
Advantages: It is very adaptable and provides reasonable coverage without feeling heavy. Disadvantages: the choice of colours isn't huge so colours may need to be blended to match.
