I wanted a lipstick that I didn’t constantly have to renew…I work as a teacher so don’t have time to be worrying about whether my lipstick is still on. Then I saw an advert on TV for Max Factor lipfinity, and I decided to give it a go.
I sometimes have problems choosing suitable colour lipsticks, but Max Factor have got a good range, and have recently broadened it even more with the introduction of Reflections to the lipfinity range. The colours they have will suit all skin types and all moods, and I opted for a nice red colour. When I got home and applied it, it did feel quite strange on my lips….a bit sticky and felt like it was drying my lips out, (although that was probably just the lipstick drying on my lips!). However once I had applied the top moisturising coat, it felt much better, and I was impressed with the glossy look. Of course you don’t have to apply the top coat if you want more of a matt look, but I would recommend it as it made my lips feel a lot better.
I was quite impressed with how long the colour stayed on my lips, although I did have to re-apply the moisturising coat as my lips felt dry during the day. However the colour did not stay on my lips for as many hours as Max Factor suggests it does, but lipfinity is a big improvement on other lipsticks I have tried in terms of how long it did stay on for.
Although the lipfinity colour is quite hard to remove, it comes off easily with make up remover and didn’t leave my lips feeling particularly dry which was a relief as I was worried that it would do. I found it quite expensive,(£9.99) but the good thing is that you can buy just the moisturising top coat or just the colour if you want to instead of the pack of both if you run out of one or the other.
I would recommend it to somebody who like me is busy during the day but I would also say that it might just be worth checking it sometime in the afternoon to make sure it is still there! This product is available from boots, chemists and some good supermarkets, or check out the Max Factor website.
This is better, but before I change my rating, perhaps you could tell me - is the picture representative of the actualy packaging? If so, I think you should explain in your op how this works, since otherwise it seems a bit strange. Let me know if you revise more.
isten is required. This was designed to go with the Lipfinity range but it is great as a topcoat for any lipstick, adding extra 'staying power' and moisture!

I thought this product was absolutely useless! It just made my lips feel all dry and lumpy and wasn't invincible at all! Sarah x
