for the lazy people :
Advantages •• The colour really does last all day •• Great to wear for an evening meal •• The moisturising top coat gives a wonderful finish •• A wide range of shades •• Lasts well as you only use the paint once a day
Disadvantages •• It is expensive •• It dehydrates your lips - badly! •• Can be hard to remove •• Will stain clothing if you catch it before it is dry •• You still have to reapply the top coat •• Highlights lip lines and cracks •• Bigger than a lipstick to carry round
And for the people that want to know more I wanted a lipstick that would last for a little longer than 2 hours. I have tried others in the past, but they didn\'t worked.
Lipfinity is different it does work really well too. In fact it is extremely difficult to get off at times.
Claiming to be a semi-permanent cosmetic lipfinity comes in a box with two items - paint for Step 1 and a moisturising top coat for Step 2 witch is good as it \"keeps you lips soft and smooth\".
Step 1 is a small bottle with a gold lid. Unscrew the lid and out comes an applicator which you use to paint the lip colour on. Try a little at a time, until you get the look you are happy with because nobody likes it when you put too much lippy on and when it gose on your teeth. Once it is dry smooth on the moisturising top coat (Step 2). This helps keeps the colour locked in your lips, and also can be used to refresh during the day. This comes in a white tube.
The adverts state when applied \"once first thing in the morning it will last through coffee, lunch and afternoon tea - you really can forget all about it!\" Not sure that mine lasts that long. But I think it would take me through to lunch, and then might need refreshing with the moisture stick a little later.
There are lots of different colours too choose from- with unusual names:-
Indulgent Spiritual Delicious Bare Charming Hot Passionate Desire Spicy Sassy Vivacious Cool Angelic Whisper
I use passionate.
The only problem I have found is that it makes my lips feel a bit weird, sort of flaky and dry. But you do get used to it as it is only the lippy not your lips. It is not uncomfortable but you can tell it is there. But dont let this put you off it may be diffrent for you.
Apparently this ‘revolutionary’ lip paint contains something called PermaTonea “a breakthrough ingredient complex which provides semi-permanent colour by gently attaching colour pigments to the lips in a flexible mesh effect”. The moisturising top coat then “ensures the Lipfinity system delivers the fresh, dewy finish we all want from a lip colour and not the dry, matte appearance of some long-lasting lipsticks”.....
You can buy Lipfinity from most large chemists for around £9.99....As im in my teens I wouldn’t be seen dead without half of the contents of my make-up bag on my face , but i dont plaster it on im pretty good compared to many other teens......
Removing it can be a pain, as it will not come off by just rinsing with water. You can either use an cleansing make-up remover wipe,or just be lazy and sleep in it and let it wear out. In the interests of consumer research and not because im lazy I tried sleeping in it, and found that you could barely see any colour by the morning, and my pillow was not covered in lipstick unbelivably.
However, my lips were even more dry by the morning, so it is not recommended.i recommend just getting a cheap baby wipe and wiping it off if you are strapped for cash..... and do not want to buy them really expensive makes of cleansing wipes.
