Paynefull Experiance

AdvantagesGood storylines, Bullet time and sound track.

DisadvantagesShort gameplay, Repetative in places.

"...an x box game. Max Payne i thought to myself, sounds interesting. I had to wait two whole days to get a chance to play it (family time and all that). So thats enough of the idle chatter and on to the review. Let me just say this one thing first, this is not the sort of game i usually opt to play but being a christmas present i thought it might be rude not to. Now let me begin firstly with a fault, for example the controlls, it took me absolutly ..." Read review

Max Payne... YES PLEASE!

AdvantagesPure Class!

DisadvantagesDifficult to control at first

"*** INTRODUCTION *** You are Max Payne. As you may have guessed, his name hints about violence. And yup there is a lot of violence and death... *** BACKGROUND *** Max Payne is a man with nothing to lose in the violent, cold urban night. A fugitive undercover cop framed for murder, and now hunted by cops and the mob. Max is a man with his back against the wall, fighting a battle he cannot hope to win. Prepare for a new breed of deep action game. ..." Read review

MAX brings on the PAYNE

AdvantagesFun, furious, at times... just crazy!

Disadvantagesno multiplayer option.

"...is the ability to move Max into slow motion, whether it be to dive and shoot at the same time, or simply to run in 'bullet-time' through a room. The game is addictive, fast and even runs you through a story worth watching. Cut scenes would be better, as you are forced to read through comic book style illustrations, but even so, the story takes the player to completely unpredicted locations, and introduces mant interesting characters. A multiplayer ..." Read review

Bring on the PAYNE!!!

AdvantagesGreat graphics , superp storyline

DisadvantagesDifficult to control at the begining

"...what can I say about Max Payne its a flagship game the first to use the slow motion (bullettime) feature. Everything about this game on the X box is remarkable. But the one thing that caught my eye is the attention to detail on the weapons themselves. This may sound a tad pointless in a game but if u pause as soon as you have fired a shot from a weapon then you can actually see the bullet leaving!!!!Now that is attention. The range of weapons is amazing ..." Read review

great game

AdvantagesSuperb effects

Disadvantagesannoying controls

"...a very moody actor voicing Max and all other voices make it great Now the bad points. Firstly the damn controls because for some of the time I wanted him to move slowly but Max can only run and has no walk setting. Then theres the game length because even though theres lots to do on the levels the game took me all of 3 days to finish which is a real disappointment as I paid for a game that would take longer than 3 days to finish Finally all ..."
