He has written a whole series of books about this delightful character. ***The Story*** This tale starts with our main character wondering what is wrong with him. “Frog was sitting on the river bank. He felt funny. He didn’t know if he was happy or sad. He had been walking about in a dream all week. What could be wrong with him?” He goes for a walk and meets up with Piglet who tells him that he is concerned, as Frog doesn’t look very well. He explains that he feels a thump-thump inside of him and that he feels like laughing and crying at the same time. Piglet thinks it might be a cold and tells him to go to bed. ...***Background*** Max Velthuijs is the author and illustrator of this delightful storybook. He has written a whole series of books about this delightful character. This is the third one that my son has found hidden like a little treasure in the library. ***The Story*** This story starts with our hero of the hour admiring himself. "'How lucky I am,' said Frog, admiring his reflection in the water. 'I am beautiful and I can swim and jump better than anyone. I am green, and green is my favourite colour. Being a frog is the best thing in the world.'" Duck then asks his if he thinks she's beautiful too but he says that she can't be because there's no green on her at all. Duck then tells him she can fly though and this amazes frog. He wants to learn how to fly too but duck tells him he can't because he has no wings. Frog tries... Read review

...***Background*** Max Velthuijs is the author and illustrator of this delightful storybook. He has written a whole series of books about this delightful character. ***The Story*** Frog is walking through the woods one day when he spots something lying in the grass. "He went up closer, and saw that it was a little brown bear wearing a red sweater. It had beady black eyes and there was a teardrop on its cheek." He decides to take him home and hugs him close. On the way back home, Frog meets Pig who asks him what he has got there. Frog tells him that it is his new friend and that he was all alone. Hare then comes up and tells him it is just a toy that can't even talk but Frog is insistent that he will teach him.
