I first started weigh training when I was at sixth form. After school each day me and my mates would all go down to the local gym and start trying to get big. Now back then I didn’t know what I know now about the influence that good nutrition has on building muscle and increasing performance so it wouldn’t surprise you that I was against protein shakes and supplements of any kind, as were all my friends. However when I started university I was away from home for the first time and had control over what I ate, reading Men’s Health Magazine and taking advice on what I should be eating to be as ripped as the guys on the cover. So eventually I came round to the idea of having whey protein shakes after training, being initially sceptical, after about a month I could tell the difference it had made to my performance in the gym. So this got me thinking about trying more mainstream protein shakes, I can’t remember why I chose cyclone over all the rest but I do know why I’m still using it now. First off many people complain about the taste of many protein shakes, this is not the case with cyclone it does actually taste nice. Secondly when compared to the increase in performance against the whey protein you start to realise what all the other little ingredients are there for. Now I’m not going to promise you miracles it does still take hard work, and you will only see the difference if you are working out hard. Picture it your on your last set of the bench press your chest is flooded with lactic acid you can feel the ‘burn’, you trying to squeeze out those last few reps to complete the set but no matter how hard you try your stuck at half way you muscles just cant contract hard enough. Well if that’s you then you will benefit from Cyclone those last few reps will become achievable and take you on further and further, building muscle and performance. It wont do it for you and if your not willing to go to that point of failure and push yourself then your throwing your money down the drain but for those who feel as though there slugging there guts down the gym and getting nowhere it could be the best thing you’ve ever bought.
